Location and Access

We operate at 50 Alexander’s Crossing in Ajax, Ontario, just east of Toronto. The casino is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. On-site parking is free, and the property is easy to reach from Highway 401.

Ajax Downs is adjacent to the casino property. From May to October, during the live quarter horse racing season, guests can move between casino gaming and the racetrack without leaving the grounds. In practice it feels like one shared entertainment area that works especially well on warmer days.

Casino Ajax is operated by One Toronto Gaming, a partnership between Great Canadian Entertainment and Brookfield Business Partners.

Gaming Options

Our main gaming floor features 800+ OLG slot machines. You will find everything from penny slots to higher-limit machines, so different bankroll sizes are covered. All slots operate under Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation oversight. Progressive jackpots may be linked across OLG locations in Ontario.

Alongside the slots, we offer electronic table games. These terminals provide digital versions of roulette, blackjack-style games, and baccarat formats. Several players can sit at the same station area, but each person keeps their own wager settings and decisions on screen.

Entry to any gaming area is restricted to guests aged 19 or older. Our staff check age and identification at the main access points.

Dining at Getaway Restaurant

The Getaway Restaurant is located inside our complex, just off the gaming floor. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with a casual menu that works for a quick bite or a longer sit-down meal. Over the years we have adjusted the selection so it fits guests stepping out of a gaming session and groups meeting for a meal.

Seating areas are divided so smaller parties can sit quietly while larger groups have space for gatherings. Food service hours follow the busier times of day, and we adjust the schedule around weekends and special events, so hours can vary a bit.

Guests can access the restaurant from the gaming areas without leaving the property. Pricing follows mid-range casual dining standards similar to what you see at entertainment properties across Ontario.

Rewards Program

Our rewards program is part of the Great Canadian Rewards Program and links Casino Ajax with other destinations. When members play on slots or electronic table games, they earn Comp Dollars. These can be used for dining credits, promotional entries, and access to select special events.

To enroll, guests present valid government-issued ID at the player services desk and complete a short registration. Once the account is active, play is tracked automatically when you insert your card into a slot machine or show it at an electronic table station.

We schedule regular promotions tied to the rewards program. Typical offers include:

1. Bonus point multiplier days on selected dates.
2. Prize draws that are open to enrolled members.
3. Concert or show ticket giveaways.
4. Seasonal tournaments with leaderboard-style prizes.
5. Birthday-related bonuses for active members.

Promotional calendars are updated regularly. We send them by email to active members and also post them at player services kiosks on the floor.

Ajax Downs Integration

Ajax Downs operates on the same overall property and connects easily with our side of the facility. The racetrack building holds roughly 500 additional slot machines, wagering windows for off-track betting, and simulcast screens with racing coverage on more than 70 displays. Live quarter horse racing usually runs on Sunday afternoons during the racing season.

On racing days, guests can move between Casino Ajax and Ajax Downs to combine casino gaming with track betting. Simulcast racing includes major thoroughbred and harness events from tracks across North America, so wagering continues throughout the year, even when there is no live racing happening on site.

Racing season also brings family-focused events around the track area. Even then, all gaming zones remain restricted to guests aged 19 or older.

For general questions, driving directions, information about promotions or event details, guests can call us toll-free at 1-866-445-3939. During business hours, the call connects to the guest services team; outside those hours, voicemail is available.

Player services desks located on the gaming floor help with all membership-related needs. That includes new rewards enrollment, lost or damaged card replacement, checking point balances, and redeeming promotions. Our staff can also assist with information on upcoming events, making dining reservations, and explaining property amenities.

Lost and found is managed by the security office. Items are held for a period of 30 days before being cleared. Wheelchair access and accessible parking are available on the property.

Entry Requirements

Before entering any gaming area, all guests must show valid government-issued photo ID at the security checkpoints. Acceptable identification includes Ontario driver’s licenses, Canadian passports, permanent resident cards, and provincial photo ID cards. ID from other provinces or countries can be used as long as it shows a photo, date of birth, and a government seal.

Security staff confirm that each guest meets the minimum age requirement of 19. If someone cannot provide acceptable identification, we are not able to allow access to the gaming floors.

We also participate in the OLG responsible gaming program through a self-exclusion list. Individuals who choose to enroll in self-exclusion are flagged within the system and will be escorted from the premises if identified at entry. This restriction applies not only at our property but across all OLG-affiliated locations in Ontario.

Payment Systems

Slot machines accept cash as well as ticket-in-ticket-out vouchers printed from other machines on the property. Change machines and bill breakers are positioned around the floor so guests can change denominations when needed. Vouchers can be cashed at the main cashier windows or inserted into another machine to keep playing.

Electronic table games work with a similar ticketing setup. Players buy credits at the station using cash or an existing voucher, and any winnings are paid out as a new voucher. That ticket can be redeemed at the cashier or put back into another eligible game. All of these transactions are recorded electronically and, when a player card is inserted, linked to the rewards account.

ATM machines are available on-site for cash withdrawals, with standard banking fees applying where relevant. We do not provide cheque cashing or credit advances. All gaming activity is conducted in Canadian dollars.
